| A. CRAIG BROWN
Born Springfield, Mass., 1952. Dartmouth College, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1974; Georgetown University Law Center, 1977.
Since joining the firm in 1977, Craig Brown has developed a broad business practice, with particular emphasis on commercial real estate development, leasing, and commercial finance. He has been involved in some of the largest real estate development projects in Western Massachusetts, including representation of the Basketball Hall of Fame in connection with its Springfield riverfront project. For seven years, he was an adjunct faculty member at Western New England College School of Law, teaching commercial paper and business planning. He is currently a trustee of American International College. He has also been actively involved in a number of housing rehabilitation projects. He provides pro bono counsel to the Springfield School Volunteers, the Springfield Urban League and other non-profit organizations, and serves on the Regional Employment Board of Hampden County. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of New Leadership Charter School and counsel to that school. He also serves as counsel to U.S. Lacrosse, Inc., the national governing body of lacrosse in the United States. Craig lives in Longmeadow with his wife and three sons.
