    		CLAIRE L. THOMPSON

    Born Nashua, N.H., 1952. Rhode Island College, 1974; Westfield State College, M.Ed., 1979; Western New England College School of Law, Moot Court Board Member, American Jurisprudence Award, 1987.

    Before joining the firm in 1988, Claire Thompson was a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court.

    Her broad civil litigation practice includes employment and discrimination law, professional malpractice, and education law. A former special education teacher who remains active in the field, she is General Counsel to numerous public school districts and independent schools. Attorney Thompson also handles special education, discipline, and other education-related disputes. She is a former member of the Wilbraham Finance Committee and a trustee of the Women's Bar Foundation.
