Before joining the firm in 2003, Karen Chadwell worked as a patent attorney for a major Connecticut firm, focusing primarily on chemical and biotechnology patent prosecution, as well as foreign patent prosecution. Before law school, she was enrolled in graduate studies in molecular genetics at Ohio State University. She then spent two years in the biotechnology industry, researching gene regulation. Karen is admitted to the Massachusetts and Connecticut bars, and is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She concentrates on intellectual property law and handles general corporate matters. Karen's public service includes serving on the Longmeadow Conservation Commission.
