Michael Sweet joined Doherty, Wallace in 1996, after practicing law with the Wall Street-based firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts. His general business law practice includes business organizations, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and private equity investments. He is also a member of the Connecticut and New York bars. His clients include manufacturing and service businesses, several non-profit land conservation organizations and a Massachusetts charter school. He is a member of the board of directors of a neighborhood-based charitable organization in the North End of Springfield and an advisory board member for an organization providing support and guidance to local entrepreneurs.  He has also volunteered as a college lacrosse coach. He grew up in Longmeadow and now lives in Wilbraham with his wife and daughter.
