| Michael D. Sweet
Born Bethesda, Md., 1970. Brown University, 1992; Boston University School of Law, Editor, American Journal of Law and Medicine, Paul J. Liacos Scholar, 1995. Michael Sweet joined Doherty, Wallace in 1996, after practicing law with the Wall Street-based firm Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts. His general business law practice includes business organizations, commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and private equity investments. He is also a member of the Connecticut and New York bars. His clients include manufacturing and service businesses, several non-profit land conservation organizations and a Massachusetts charter school. He is a member of the board of directors of a neighborhood-based charitable organization in the North End of Springfield and an advisory board member for an organization providing support and guidance to local entrepreneurs. He has also volunteered as a college lacrosse coach. He grew up in Longmeadow and now lives in Wilbraham with his wife and daughter.
