    Garth Janes' law practice includes general business law, business planning, family business issues, financing and securities work, mergers and acquisitions, and import-export issues. Prior to joining Doherty, Wallace in 1988, he practiced international trade law with the Washington D.C. office of Baker & McKenzie. He is the past chairman and current member of the board of tribunes of WGBY-TV, Springfield's public television station, as well as a current member of the board of overseers and a past member of the board of directors of the WGBH Education Foundation. Garth is also the past chairman of the board of advisors of the Springfield Enterprise Center at Springfield Technical Community College and the past chairman of the Richard Salter Storrs Library in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
